Ultra-Quiet Operation and Lightweight Design
Woven-mesh vents quietly direct and diffuse exhaled air away from you and your partner, helping you and your partner sleep more comfortably. When assembled, the entire AirFit P10 mask only weighs 1.6oz, so it’s easy to travel with or stow on your nightstand for easily accessible and highly portable sleep apnea therapy.
Flexible Short Tube and Dual-Wall Nasal Pillows Built to Accommodate Active Sleepers
Enjoy more freedom while you sleep with the flexible short tube, which allows for movement during sleep without impacting the performance of the seal. As a complement for active sleepers, dual-wall nasal pillows embedded in the mask cushion are available in four sizes and are designed to adapt to movement while maintaining the mask’s seal.
User-Friendly Design Only Has a Few Parts
This product consists of only three parts: the vent frame, a nasal pillow, and headgear (not included). The pillow is easily removable and can be quickly reassembled using the top and bottom clips of the pillow rim.
Color-Coded Rims Help You Easily Identify Nasal Pillow Sizing
The nasal pillows for the AirFit P10 are feature color-coded rims by size. When ordering, select the size you need:
- Extra Small (Pink)
- Small (Clear)
- Medium (Gray)
- Large (Blue)
Flexible Short Tube Included
Attached to the frame is a highly flexible short tube. It allows for movement during sleep while limiting disturbance to the seal. The short tube cannot be detached from the frame.
Flexible Nasal Pillows
The dual-wall nasal pillows are available in four sizes: XS; S; M; L. The pillows are designed to adapt to movement; the stems of the nasal pillow compress to allow for a comfortable seal that is maintained during position changes. The pillows feature a lettered size indicator as well as an “L” and “R” to help properly orient the pillows.
OPTIONAL: Strap Pads for the AirFit P10
If your mask headgear irritates your face, strap pads can help! These comfortable fabric wraps add an extra layer of softness between your face and the headgear, helping reduce irritation and maybe reduce red marks.
This is the AirFit Nasal Pillow Mask with a single size of nasal pillows ONLY and does not include the headgear. The headgear may be purchased separately: ResMed Headgear for AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask.
In House Testing Tips: A Swift FX user tested the AirFit P10 and found it to be extremely lightweight and quiet. He was surprised and impressed by the diffused exhalation. Once he found the optimal positioning of the headgear the nasal pillows maintained a comfortable and reliable seal.
Headgear Position Note: Initially and with both parts of the strap together, the tester found the tension against his nares too tight. However, splitting the two halves of the strap apart and positioning one forward on the crown and the other down below the bump on the back of the head made for a very comfortable fit. He found small adjustments of the strap position altered the tension effectively.
AirFit™ & Oxygen Usage: The AirFit™ does not have an oxygen port. If supplemental oxygen is needed for therapy, consider using the Oxygen Enrichment Adapter.
AirFit™ & SmartStart or Auto-On Features: Features that automatically start the flow of therapy airflow may not work effectively with the AirFit ™Nasal Pillow Mask.
AirFit™ Compatibility: The AirFit P10 is compatible with single pressure CPAP machines, auto-adjusting APAP machines and two-level BiPAP machines. Per ResMed the manufacturer, the AirFit™ Nasal Pillow Mask is not compatible with these two specific machines: “AutoSet CS 2” & “VPAP Adapt SV”.
SnuggleCover for Short Tubes: The SnuggleHose Cover for Short Mask Tubes will fit the short tube of the AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask Assembly Kit.
Latex Free: The AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask is not made with natural rubber latex.
Headgear (not included with this product) Placement & Orientation: The AirFit™ P10 headgear should be oriented with the gray side facing outward, and the blue side facing inward. Adjustments are made by narrowing the split back straps together for a tighter fit or spreading them apart for a looser fit. There are no Velco tabs to adjust the headgear length.
Nasal Pillow Sizes & Orientation: The nasal pillows for the AirFit™ feature a color-coded rim to identify the size. A single size of nasal pillows is included with the AirFit™ P10 Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask Assembly Kit. Select the desired size at the time of ordering. Available sizes are:
- Extra Small (Pink)
- Small (Clear)
- Medium (Gray)
- Large (Blue)
Tips for Putting the AirFit™ on in Darkened Room: It can be difficult to put any mask on in a dark room. Having some orientation tricks that work by feel rather than sight will help.
The plastic pillow frame of the AirFit™ has raised lettering that says RESMED. The word RESMED faces up, toward the nose, when in the correct orientation. Some people find it easiest to feel the raised lettering with a fingernail, others with the ball of a finger or thumb. Either way, feel for the raised lettering and face it upward to position the nasal pillows correctly.
The plastic headgear stabilizers that hold the fabric headgear curve upward towards the ears. The curve goes up like a smile, not down like a frown. In a darkened room, feel for the upward curve of the headgear to help orient the mask.
Care & Cleaning: Per the manufacturer, the AirFit P10 mask should be hand washed daily using a mild soap or detergent. Rinse thoroughly in clear, running water after cleaning. Use a soft bristle brush to ensure the woven-mesh vent is free of dust and oil. The headgear should be washed weekly using mild soap, rinsed well, and allowed to air dry. Do not wash the mask or headgear in a washing machine or dishwasher.
Removing Headgear: To remove the headgear from the mask assembly pull on the fabric end of each strap to reveal the buttonhole. Then slide the headgear off the ends of the stabilizers. To replace, slide the stabilizers into the headgear buttonhole, and once completely inserted, the fabric end can be placed over the stabilizer node to cover the buttonhole and lock the headgear in place.
Removing a Nasal Pillow: To remove a nasal pillow, the plastic frame should be flexed to release the top and bottom clips from the mask assembly. To replace, the clips must be aligned and pushed into the assembly to lock in place. Please note that the lower clip is larger than the upper clip. The pillow cannot be locked into place if put on upside down. Any size AirFit™ Nasal Pillow will work with either the AirFit™ or Airfit™ For Her Nasal Pillow CPAP Mask.
